Association ARBITRI organizes Second Sarajevo Arbitration Day
Association ARBITRI in cooperation with Wolf Theiss and Commercial Law Development Program organizes the Second Sarajevo Arbitration Day.
The conference will be held on 15 April 2016 at the Foreign Chamber of Commerce of Bosnia and Herzegovina. This year’s focus is investment arbitration and, in particular, the use of arbitration in infrastructure and energy disputes. Experienced arbitrators and practitioners from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Croatia and the United States will address the current hot topics in this field and provide the participants with an insightful overview of the current practices and trends, with a special focus on third-party funding, as well as multi-tier dispute resolution clauses.
Representatives of the ICC, VIAC and the Arbitration Court attached to the Foreign Chamber of Commerce of Bosnia and Herzegovina will give the participants practical input on advantages of these forums for disputes originating in the CEE/SEE region.
As was the case with the 1st Sarajevo Arbitration Day held in October 2014, this year’s conference aims at promoting arbitration among business and legal community in Bosnia and Herzegovina in order to motivate both businesses and lawyers to use arbitration in their everyday business.
